About the Project
The brief, for cycle clothing manufacturer Isadore, was to create a visually compelling film for social media to showcase an ecological project that created jerseys out of recycled plastic bottles – a product that is practical, stylish and has a positive environmental impact.
Synopsis
Floating among organic objects from the forest like stone, wood and fern, a plastic bottle begins to dissolve and the small particles cascade downwards.
These particles are then reconstituted to form a cycling jersey which rotates and pulses with energy.
How we did it?
There was no voiceover to this film to explain it, so the story had to be told clearly and successfully using visuals.
The film was created with 3D design and 3D animation. Originally an aquatic environment was also considered as well as the forest environment, but in the end the decision was made to go with the forest theme.
This was our first experience with this type of animation, and we were very happy with the results.
